World Title Match. All player played 8 rounds Swiss in one group with no
repair round. Brian Hinkle was the highest finisher of those who registered
for "Majors" and wins Majors Title (+$150). Watson Franks wins District 8
(+$450) and Texas State (+$400) titles. Tanya (Tetiana) Zaitseva was highest
finishing woman. Referees were Richard Beckwith and Alex Holmes. Alex
Moiseyev won the side 3-Move Blitz Tournament and won $300. Alex Holmes was 2nd
in the Blitz event and won $200. Door prizes were also awarded. Special thanks
to Watson and Rita Franks for keeping the players well fed each day, including
